Pittsburg, Calif. - Sophomore Destiny Greenwood racked up 37 kills on the day as the Solano women's volleyball team (8-7) split at the Los Medanos College Classic, falling in three (25-16, 25-22, 25-16) to Hartnell before rebounding with a four-set win (19-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-14) over Shasta on Friday.
Greenwood tallied 14 kills and four blocks against Hartnell before earning a double-double wiht 23 kills and 10 blocks against Shasta. She added seven digs against the Knights.
Sophomore setter Mia Pimentel earned nearly a double-double with 20 assists and nine kills against the Panthers, following up that performance with 40 assists and two aces against Shasta. And freshman Kailyn Kaiser earned three aces against Hartnell.
The Falcons resume BVC play, hosting Napa Valley on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m.
