Trip to Mendocino is a Success
Solano College volleyball continued its strong Bay Valley Conference run with a commanding 3-0 sweep over Mendocino College on Friday night, winning by scores of 25-14, 25-17, and 25-14. The Falcons controlled every aspect of the match, hitting an impressive .388 as a team while holding Mendocino to zero recorded kills.
Sophomore outside hitter Aliyah Aguiar led the offensive charge with 16 kills on a .519 hitting percentage, adding 4 blocks and 18 total points. Setter Kaylie Reyes was outstanding once again, dishing out 18 assists, tallying 9 kills on a .421 clip, and contributing 2 service aces for 11.5 points.
Giana Guintu added another balanced effort with 9 kills, 16 assists, and 17 digs, while Lilliana Mass chipped in 6 kills and a solo block. Libero Makenzie Lovell anchored the defense with 16 digs, helping Solano limit Mendocino’s offense throughout the night.
The Falcons totaled 43 kills, 51 digs, and 7 service aces in the sweep, showing sharp execution and consistent energy from start to finish.
