Solano Sweeps Los Medanos; Coach Williams Earns 600th Career Win
Pittsburg, Calif. — November 7, 2025
The Solano College Falcons continued their dominance in Bay Valley Conference play with a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-11, 25-11) over Los Medanos College on Friday night. The victory not only pushed Solano’s conference record to 9-0 and overall mark to 18-11, but also marked a major milestone — Coach Darla Williams’ 600th career win.
Aliyah Aguiar led the Falcons’ balanced offensive attack, finishing with 9 kills on an impressive .533 hitting percentage, while also serving a perfect 9-for-9 with 3 aces. Lilli Mass and Kaylie Reyes each added 6 kills, with Reyes contributing all over the court — 13 assists, 9 digs, and 2 aces.
Setter Giana Guintu tallied 12 assists, 5 digs, and 4 aces, keeping the offense in rhythm and pressure on the Mustangs’ defense. Makenzie Lovell was dominant at the service line, serving 14-for-15 with 6 aces while adding 4 digs defensively.
Solano’s serving proved to be a key difference-maker, as the Falcons recorded 16 service aces on the night and limited Los Medanos to just 23 total digs.
The Falcons return to action Monday at 6 p.m. in a make-up match at College of Marin, before returning home for matches on Wednesday (BLUE OUT NIGHT) and Friday (SOPHOMORE NIGHT) to close out the regular season.
