Zaldivar, Schafer Tabbed May Athletes of the Month

Fairfield, Calif. - Baseball's Danny Zaldivar and Swimming's Breanna Schafer are tabbed the Solano Athletics May Athletes of the Month, announced Monday.

Zaldivar, a sophomore right-handed pitcher, had a great finale to his career with the Falcons, going 3-1 on the mound. He fanned 18 over 27 innings, allowing only six earned runs - good for a 1.97 ERA.

In her rookie season, Schafer qualified was named an All-American after a 14th place finish in the mile (1650) freestyle at the state championships. She also qualified for the state meet in the 400 Individual Medley.
