Bio
Mia Pimentel joined the Falcon Women’s Volleyball coaching staff in the summer of 2022, bringing with her a strong playing background and a passion for developing young athletes.
A lifelong volleyball player, Mia began playing at age 10 and spent eight years competing with Club Solano Volleyball. She was a four-year varsity starter at Jesse Bethel High School before playing two seasons at Solano College, where she helped lead the Falcons to back-to-back Bay Valley Conference championships in 2017 and 2018. During her time at Solano, she tied the school’s all-time assist record.
After Solano, Mia transferred to UC Santa Barbara, where she continued her playing career on UCSB’s competitive club team and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Media Studies. She also currently works at the San Francisco Film School, combining her passion for film and education.
