Second-Half Surge Fuels the Win
The Falcons exploded for 51 points in the second half, attacking the paint and consistently earning trips to the free-throw line. Solano shot a remarkable 38-of-47 (80.9%) from the stripe—more than doubling Sacramento City’s made free throws and ultimately providing the separation in an otherwise even contest.
Morris, Dennis, and Ignacio Anchor the Starting Five
Sophomore forward Trevor Morris delivered a standout performance, posting 21 points and 9 rebounds while going 11-for-13 from the line. His physical presence inside set the tone throughout the night.
Guard Dominick Dennis added 15 points, aggressively attacking the rim and converting 9-of-14 free throws.
Meanwhile, Nicko Ignacio continued his steady two-way play, finishing with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Miles Sparks the Bench with a Big Night
Carter Miles provided a major lift off the bench, scoring 15 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in 17 high-energy minutes. Miles’ ability to rebound and draw contact played a pivotal role in Solano edging Sacramento City on the glass, 44–37.
Falcons’ Defense Clamps Down Late
Solano forced key turnovers in the closing minutes, holding Sacramento City to just 44 points after halftime despite a strong effort from Panthers guard Jaydon Bonds, who led all Sacramento scorers with 21 points.
Balanced Contribution Across the Roster
Eleven different Falcons found the scoring column, and Solano won despite making fewer field goals thanks to superior rebounding, interior scoring, and free-throw efficiency.
