Bio
Mike Mcchristian is heading into his first season as an assistant coach at Solano College and the community college level. Mcchristian previously was the Head Coach at Armijo high School from 2023-2025. Mike has also coached at his Alma Mater, Will. C. Wood.
Prior to his coaching career, Mike led a very successful playing career. During his high school career at Will. C. Wood, he was MEL (Monticello Empire League) MVP. He continued onto Yuba College and won BVC (Bay Valley Conference) MVP as a freshman, 1st Team All-State and was named top 100 JUCO players in the Nation. Mcchristian’s play at Yuba Led him to a scholarship to play at University of Idaho (2011-2013). Mike received his BA in Journalism and Mass Media from the University of Idaho
Mike Will also serve as the Men’s Basketball AAMP (Athletic Academic Mentoring Program) mentor.
