Bio
“Coach Brittany Pagan joined the Solano Community College softball staff in Fall of 2025 as an Assistant Coach and believes in the importance of building a player’s mental game just as much as their athletic ability.
A Northern California native, Pagan has had a diverse experience within the softball community. She attended and played softball at Mira Loma High School in Sacramento, CA followed by playing at Baker University (NAIA) in Baldwin City, KS. Due to injury, her softball career ended early, but she stayed at Baker to finish her degree and received a BS in Communication Studies with a Minor in Mass Media. She continued her education and received a MA in Communication Studies from Arkansas State University in 2025. Pagan has always had a passion for teaching and helping others grow into their full potential and hopes to achieve this with each player in the program.
Pagan’s coaching philosophy is rooted in the concept of Mudita, which is finding true joy in the happiness and success of others. Softball is as much a team sport as it is an internal battle within each player, so being discipled, mentally tough, and supportive of teammates achievements creates an unstoppable team dynamic. Encouraging this mentality allows players to grow as an individual athlete and team player.
For fun, Pagan enjoys live music, house plants, and enjoying the new passive hobby of Legos with an ideal day off being spent with family and in the outdoors. One of her favorite fictional characters is Rocky Balboa with The Sandlot being her favorite childhood movie.”
