Solano Women’s Basketball Secures Road Win at Shasta, 64–53

Solano College earned a strong road victory on Saturday evening, defeating Shasta 64–53 behind a dominant fourth-quarter performance and a career night from sophomore standout Amari Mason.
The Falcons led 17–16 after a competitive first quarter, but both teams traded runs throughout the first half, entering the break tied 28–28. Solano found a rhythm in the second half, outscoring Shasta 36–25—including a decisive 19–7 fourth quarter—to pull away for the win.

Mason was unstoppable, posting 31 points, 17 rebounds, and 5 blocks while shooting 10–25 from the field and a crisp 6–6 at the line. Her presence on both ends fueled Solano’s late-game surge.
