Falcons Earn Multiple BVC Awards After Gritty, Competitive Season
The Solano College women’s soccer team capped off an impressive 2nd place in the BVC season with several players earning top honors in the Bay Valley Conference. Led by exceptional leadership, hard work, and consistency across the pitch, the Falcons showcased growth, resilience, and standout individual performances that earned recognition across the conference.
Top Conference Honors
BVC Midfielder of the Year – Kalina Osorio
Team captain Kalina Osorio (#20) earned one of the conference’s highest awards after dominating the midfield all season long. A true box-to-box midfielder, Osorio played every minute of every match, anchoring both the defensive and attacking phases of play. She finished the season with 6 goals and 5 assists, and was widely recognized as the team’s hardest worker and emotional engine on the field.
BVC Keeper of the Year – Hannah Brackfield
Sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Brackfield delivered a standout season between the posts, earning Keeper of the Year honors. Brackfield recorded 43 saves in conference play, along with two clean sheets and a memorable penalty save that helped secure valuable points. Her reliability and shot-stopping ability were key components of Solano’s defensive identity.

Osorio’s impact on both sides of the ball, combined with her leadership and unmatched work rate, made her one of the conference’s most influential players. Her 6 goals and 5 assists reflect her versatility and ability to change matches. -
Katelyn Walbolt (#16, Attacking Midfielder)
Team Captain
A dynamic attacking presence, Walbolt finished with 6 goals and 1 assist, serving as a key creator and finisher. Her aggressive playmaking and leadership—paired with her dangerous ability on set pieces—made her indispensable in Solano’s offensive success. -
Hannah Brackfield (Goalkeeper)
Keeper of the Year
Brackfield’s conference-leading performances earned her a spot on the First Team in addition to her major award. Her 43 saves and ability to command the box kept Solano competitive in every match.
BVC Second Team

Aaliyha Padilla (#6, Defensive Midfielder)
Padilla was a vital part of Solano’s midfield structure, contributing 2 goals and 3 assists while providing composure, toughness, and consistency. Her ability to win balls and distribute effectively made her an essential piece in transition play. -
Breanna Davis (#7, Forward)
One of the team’s most reliable attacking threats, Davis scored 5 goals and added 2 assists, appearing in every game of the season. Her speed, movement, and ability to stretch defenses made her a constant danger in the final third.

The Falcons’ 2025 season was marked by strong leadership from team captains, major individual breakthroughs, and a unified commitment to improvement. With a 2nd place finsih in conference, and two major top conference award winners and five total all-conference selections, Solano College continues to build momentum and set high standards for the future.
