Eight Volleyball Athletes Earn 2024 State All-Academic Awards
Eight Solano Falcons Named to 2024 CCCWVCA All-Academic Team
Solano College continues to excel both on the court and in the classroom, as eight members of the Falcons 2024 women’s volleyball team have been recognized by the California Community College Women’s Volleyball Coaches Association (CCCWVCA) with 2024 All-Academic Team honors.
The honorees include Aliyah Aguiar (Outside Hitter), Maui Asuncion (Defensive Specialist), Jada Cuffie (Middle Blocker), Jacquelyn Capili (Defensive Specialist), Breanna Davis (Setter), Giana Guintu (Outside Hitter), Vanessa Semien (Outside Hitter), and Trinity Tugasmita (Setter).
To qualify for the CCCWVCA All-Academic Award, student-athletes must have completed at least 24 units with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, demonstrating excellence in their academic and athletic pursuits.
The Falcons’ academic success continues a long tradition of excellence within the Solano volleyball program, where academic discipline is valued as highly as athletic performance. These eight award winners exemplify the college’s mission to foster growth both in the classroom and in competition.
