The Solano Falcons secured a thrilling 2-1 victory in their Bay Valley Conference home opener against Woodland. After a scoreless first half, Solano took the lead in the 61st minute when Katelyn Walbolt calmly converted a penalty. Woodland equalized in the 81st minute, but the Falcons responded in dramatic fashion with Walbolt scoring the game-winning goal in the 87th minute, assisted by Zoe Zanassi. Goalkeeper Juliana Jacobson played the full match, anchoring the defense and helping secure the win.
